safe as houses????

i get reallly worried about about hearing stories about scoob assaults. you know, stories of fake carpet sellers trying to divert your attention whilst they run off with your only world wide worthy goods, and gun point entanglements!
what i'd like to know is, how can i lock myself inside my car whilst driving? (sounds a bit paranoid i know), is there a way? or do i have to put together some kind of mad max security system??

Brumbrum,
Do you have the factory fitted alarm. If so one of the functions you can enable locks the doors when the ignition is on.
It is called safety lock *4 switches it on, *5 off.
Safety Lock
If all doors and boot are closed when you turn on the ignition the doors will lock...

You will need to read the manual...

thanks boys, i'll dig out the manual and try and work out what to do with the key fob. i think i've previously read that if you press the button 5 times it sets off the alarm, to be used as a distress signal.

Hi brum, its hold button for 5 secs to use as panic alarm mate.

Do you not have the small horizontally moving lock on the doors ( inside) that you can flick over?
