Re: oil gauges

The boost gauge I have an Auto gauge one T pieced the line off the intake manifold vacuum pipe going to boost solenoid think it was, good to have boost reading before the turbo rather than after for a better reading I heard, have the power for the light hooked up to my light in the IC water spray switch so light in gauge will only work when lights are on and just put my ground wire to the cars body sanded the area down and screwed in job done hope that helps

Re: oil gauges

oil temperature - mine is tapped into the sump bung.
oil pressure - fit into line where oil pressure switch connect to using a t piece and refit oil pressure switch.

DO NOT USE A SANDWICH PLATE ON THE FILTER, THEY LEAK.

Re: oil gauges

thanks for the help guys.... where do i get a tapped bung for my sump...

as far as the oil pressure is concerned i am seeing those plates every where but it has a big bulky sender unit... do i need one if i install it if i install mine at the oil pressure switch... which i believe means you need to remove the alternator and install a sender line?

i also heard that you can install pressure gauge on cyl 3... what does this involve

please help i need a definitive answer on the temp and pressure gauge... is there a sticky or does anyone have pics or a vid with all parts needed etc ect

thank you guys
