Smile Launch Control

Does the 1999 STI version 5 comes with Lanuch Control? If not, is it possible to install it later ?

and what about flat foot shift in the 1999 STI?

Thanks in advance!

Launch control puts big stress on the engine, turbo and transmission etc

Sim Tek ECU's have this functionality and it can be fitted by a good mapper... costly modification though

Why do you want/need it?

Re: Launch Control

Hi m8t my 2.5 wrx has it installed.Mine is stage 3 just now and when i was getting the first map ecutech it cost me just an extra 100 that includes the flat shift as well
It does put a bit of strain on your clutch but just dont do it all the time
Great at lights though 0-60 in about 4 seconds
