Tyre Question

e-marking (again) reference required Interesting this have any one heard of tyres being ''E'' Marked so they in accordance with EU legislation have heard if you dont have your tyres ''E'' marked as some are not if you had a crash or what ever and insurance company might not pay out as the tyre not recognised or made in the EU and not stamped as ''E'' marked just asking as you know insurance companies can be a bit iffy reason I ask Im buying tyres from net and want to be sure their E Marked

Re: Tyre Question

yeah after July 07 all tyres had to carry the E mark. I'd be amazed if an insurance assesor actually spotted this unless the cause of an accident was a tyre blow out or something

Re: Tyre Question

A good way of proving Toyo R888's are road legal to a disbelieving traffic officer would be pointing out the 'E' mark,,,, maybe?
