disconnecting/reconnecting positive battery lead on starter solenoid
How easy is it to unattach and reattach a positive battery lead on the starter solenoid at the back of the engine? What would i need to do?
Reason i ask.......... I have a spare new battery(came with the car), but the terminals are at the opposite end(a few inches further away)and the positive lead will not reach so i may need a longer lead. Andrew |

You can make a lead up but its got to be very heavy duty so any old wire wont do,
Could you fit a battery kill switch and extend the one you have thru that? There are a few on fleabay but they arent very long, all the Ground cables seem longer so you could get one of those and make sure its insulated/ marked red. |
