having problems with insurance

Hi guys,

can you point me in the riight direction please.

Im 33 with 12 yrs no claims protected.
I live in Weymouth in an 'ok' area
Im a home owner.
6 points on my license.
Recently i have owned a Calibra and now own an FTO GPX (group 18, paying 404 fully comp) which ive had for 3 yrs (modified, import).

I cant seem to get an insurance quote for less than 750 fully comp on a 1993 subaru wrx (modified). Seems very high to me?

what do you think?

Re: having problems with insurance

Hi fella I live between dorch and yoevil I'm insured with direct line. me and the misses I'm 34 she is 37 with 7 years ncb costs 510 for a 2001 wrx with unlimited breakdown assist.
Had to fit a tracker and limited to 10000 miles and can't commute to work in it but as i work from home that don't matter.

try Adrian flux,Keith micheals or Aplan

Hope this helps
Dan

def give gary at keith michaels a ring, what mods has it got? also you may find its cos of lack of experiance with scoobs, there considered a bit of a different kettle of fish in insurers eyes.

keith Michaels insurance, as said above ask to speak to Gary Moulson (i think his name is), he will quote you for an impreza. Other than that i have used A-Plan insurance.

A word of warning over A plan, they may be cheap but are a pita when you have to make any kind of claim I cant ever recommend them.

try Lifesure, talk to Matt Crane. My modified wrx import is 396 with 150 xs.

Re: having problems with insurance

get a tracker.... my insurance

age 30
wife 27
1 years ncb after crash in wrx last year
my06 wrx wagon

650
this is with a 600 excess
however it was 450 before crash it was going to be 1500 until tracker was installed.

tracker 350 installed and 130 a year subscription or 350 lifetime subscription

this was with direct line by the way

will be getting a rb320 or a litchfeild when i get my ncb back
