help please SEALANT

i have recently put my new lights on the back of my car & condensation has got into the passenger side one :evil: the reason i want help is which sealant do i need to buy & where from? the sealant that was on my old lights was black & very sticky and you could move it about, what type of sealant is this? i don't want to go to b&Q and waste my money by buying the wrong stuff ops: please HELP :wink:

here across the pond, we have found 3M Ribbon Sealer works GREAT

made by 3M it's a string of goooey goo that absolutely works!
used it on my Impreza when i swapped in the JDM Tail lights.
