version 8 STi Top Mount I/C versus Hybrid GT Spec Front Mount

So.............. I know this is a bit of a hot potato and will surely divide the peaceful and civilised dot org community , but i was just wondering what peoples opinions are?
The reason i ask is that i have an opportunity to change to front mount with a cold air induction feed/kit for a reasonable price. This along with an uprated turbo actuator (with 1 bar pressure activation of the wastegate) and remap i'm trying to squeeze every last drop out of my twinscroll turbo on the v.8 Spec C. The car is currently running 353bhp/385ftlbs - on the road.
My mapper says it's a 'good idea' - 'as the cooler i can keep things the better' and it will give 'some' performance gain.
My thinking is that if i can get more boost with the actuator then a lower air temp charge would also be a good link in the chain ?? or have i got this wrong?
