Hi all, been speaking to a friend of mine about my air box and what not and have a little question.

Is there any restrictions to the air flow before the air box? I've been told there might be a resonator box where the air flow pipe enters the drivers side wing? If so does removing this help with breathing, or will it just mess up the MAFS? I'm running a green panel filter already but interested to know if there's anything else I can do to improve the air flow without bolting on a induction kit.

This looks spot on, they mention that you might not get full benefits of the system without a unichip? My rex hasn't been re-maped yet so would you recommend waiting till then?

best bet is,buy it,fit it,try it,won't cause any damage in doing so,just means you'll hear a "flutter" of the tubby,just like mine does

and you won't end up with heat sink from the engine bay either

was goin to get one for mine,but not needed due to the carbon inlet scoop allowing vast amounts of air in

maybe you shouldn't be looking at this thread Dean!!

Thinking of making one like Blue Peter... bit of drain pipe and a few bog rolls and 'sticky backed plastic' all from a skip... as cant afford to buy them!

get it right,drain pipe and flexy hose from the wife's tumble dryer,and plenty of gaffer tape!!..
