This Can't be Right !!

Quote Peter UK300
OK
May be being thick (probably am)
Joan looked out the house window and points out I have two red lights flashing in the car

The alarm light in the centre.......... Yes this one I know is correct.

BUT

Something I had not noticed before the ignition key light on the Clock Cluster is flashing as well....................... Is this correct........

Car is locked up tight End Quote

I Have the grand total of No flashing lights. For the Hard of Learning that's 'None', Zilch, Zero, 1 less than 1, I am completely bereft of effin flashing lights :!: :!:   :!: :?:
What's going on :?: Can this be correct :?: Have I been short changed :?: I demand a re-count :!: I demand some sort of explanation from those in a position of authority :!:
That's it, a letter to my MP for starters. I'll get to the bottom of this if it's the last thing I do :!:

COOL (Not on your life)

TBH Cool I thought my flashing key was related to and works with my Clifford alarm system.

Could be wrong though :?:

Oh no - how come the lights are gone? Do they fit Cat 1 immob and Alarm as standard over there Cool?

Just a thought.... Mayvbe the lights are CAT1 required hence they are installed as default for the GB market?

JDM not?

 I feel for you man, ---- Let us know what happens cool.

I just feel let down Gareth.
How come all you guys get flashing lights and I'm completely in the dark :?:
So I don't have, or need, a Cat1 alarm system. That's not the point
You guys are busy counting just how many flashing bits you have and I'm not in the club at all. :x
Even one token flasher would do. Doesn't even have to be red, any colour would do :!: Even white.
It's just not fair.
can anyone think of a solution :?:
Maybe one of those 'lovely' dash mounted Xmas trees would do the job, well at least until January.

Cool.

Not a bad idea E but it's freezing out there :!:
I spent at least 10 mins in the carport looking for a flashing light after reading Peters original post. I was freezing my doughnuts off out there hunting for a flashing light :!:
I feel such a fool, I even got in the back to see if a rear passengers view was required to see it.
TBH I'm now a little disillusioned with the car now :!: OK, it's exciting to drive but how can I hold my head up amongst others with one or more flashing lights to talk about :?:

Cool

Hey Mr cool, simple mate, when your car is parked up at home, run an extension lead out to it and put your monitor on the dash with Gars twinkly lights on it
The theiving twoocers will spot it and go nick someone else's
Ok the rest of the pc would have to go in the car too!

But on the sensible side  being the clever guy you are, why not mount a flashing let up by the clock- a dummy alarm (sure thats all our are  )
Idea from another dummy
