Turbo for non-turbo..

Hi, this is my first post here so any help and guidance will be much appreciated..

I'm just wondering if there's any aftermarket Bolt-on Turbo Kit for the 09 Impreza 2.0L Non-Turbo??
Will it do any long-term harm or damage to the engine/transmission? Coz they're only selling the Auto here in my country..

Cheers

Re: Turbo for non-turbo..

Dont quote me ,but i imagine not. There is more to it than just bolting on a turbo kit,the engine internals ,andmany other components would need uprating due to the extra heat ,and power that a standard motor produces. Here in the uk certain firms like turbo technics often do upgrades ,but with what it cost,it is far easier to just buy a turbo motor from the start, then there is also the case that some firms may not insure you.

Re: Turbo for non-turbo..

my friend better option is to go supercharge
this creates much less heat
and will be less stressfull on your stock engine
with a considerable broadening of the usable power band and an increase in torque of 33% at 4,000 revs/min

they do not make the turbo sound or blow off effect but itl shift
