BOV/Intercooler gasket.

Hi guys, fitted a turbosmart vee port bov today and came across a possible problem. When I took the original bov off, the gasket on the intercooler seemed to be half stuck down with some adhesive and half hanging off. At this point I decided to try and offer it back up to the intercooler and the other side came un-glued.

I've now fitted the new bov with the gasket it comes with and put the old original one also back on and firmly screwed the bov body on to the intercooler. My question is, does that original gasket need replacing and re-glueing back on to the intercooler or will it be ok? I've taken the car for a drive and there doesn't seem to be any cutting out or back firing.

Cheers guys!

O right, the manual with the new bov said to use both, but if I only need the one I'll whip the old one out. Cheers pal!
