Question can't find a few bits n pieces

Good morning gentlemen,

some time ago i posted that my 2 front struts are requiring replaced, and cars now out of warranty, so i gotta get the parts myself.
i've been looking for the past couple of months to try and find kyb standard struts to fit my car but can't find any!
i know they are available as a garage has quoted me for supply and fit but they seem expensive.

Now that my front disc(s) are warped i thought i'd get it all done at once.
have now bought myself some new ferodo ds2500 pads, and going to be getting the discs shortly.

now i just need to find kyb struts for my car (hawkeye 2006 sti).
Anyone know of a website that sells them ?

also recommendations on front discs wouldn't go a miss. currently looking at ebc grooved/dimpled @ 270 a pair.

Thanks,
David

Re: can't find a few bits n pieces

okay, so I've finally had a reply from godspeed - actually had emailed them about a week before i posted here.

they're offering grooved front discs for 155 a pair, or grooved and drilled for 175 a pair - way better prices than ebc ones.
I like the look of the drilled & grooved ones, but what are the chances of them cracking at the holes under normal day2day driving conditions ?

still waiting on a reply from camskill.. heres hoping they can supply me some struts.

cheers,
david

A fella here had a big brake kit on his E36 M3 had drilled discs used the car for fast road and was never on a track and got 2years outa them with no problems but its all up to the person the way they drive it
