WRX UK300 De-Cat

hey all, thinking of a custom exhaust with de-cat, will i be needing a re map afterwards? or will the ecu adj its self? i need more power im used to the car now!!!

Re set the ECU and that will be enough to ensure the mod does not adversely affect the performance...

Will the whole system be de-catted? or just the centre or up pipe or down pipe etc

More info would be of help please

Also to obtain the benefits of a full de-cat, you would need a remap tbh

otherwise you will get small gain in HP

The ecu on your car will learn, but re-set quicker

You may need to fit a CELfix to the ecu.

As Steve said.

The CELfix stops the rear CEL code P0420 catalyst system efficiency below threshold from appearing, this code being caused by the lack of a catalytic converter in the exhaust.

thanks a lot guys, yeah would be going for a full system de cat, up pipe down pipe centre section, why not hey! gave her a good polish with some auto glym wax today, looks great now im going out to get mucky again lol, cheers!
