Up-Pipe Catted ?

Hi,

i'm sure this question has been posted before - but i did a quick search and couldn't find it!

Does my car (impreza 2006 sti) have a cat in the up-pipe ? I'm sure I read somewhere that there was no cat in the up-pipe.

If it does, will putting in a decatted up-pipe make any performance difference at all? and will it still pass MOT.
Already have PPP and straight-through center section fitted.

Thanks,
David

Re: Up-Pipe Catted ?

As far as im aware the sti has a catless up pipe on the blob eye model. Mines is a wrx and I used a standard classic up pipe bought on ebay to remove it
