Question Front subframe removed

I drive a 2003 sti and was wondering if anyone knows if you can drive it without the u shaped front subframe fitted.

i think some take it off to save weight, its just like running like a classic.

Yes i was a bit worried ,i only left it off because when fitting my antilift kit i realised after fitting the left one i had been given two left ones ,so ive left it off for now until i get the right hand one then it will go back on then i will get me tracking done.
