Got home from work this evening to find...
A HUGE nail in the rear tyre :cry:

Now, do I pull it out n hope, or go to the garage in the morning lol
Any ideas on what garages do with this? First one I've had :cry:

Hmmm - difficult call mate - I would drive it in to a tyre place to get it checked

I had a similar thing earlier this year - spotted a massive nail head embedded in the tyre. I gently pulled it out and checked for leaks afterwards - it was fine. I do however have a Kwik Fit only a few miles from where I live

Another instance I had a large screw/nail head. I took it to Kwik Fit and they removed it only to find that it wasn't embedded in the tyre at all and was only about a third of the screw. It had however become wedged between the tread

ops: so to anyone looking it looked like it was in there to stay

TZ, if you have a place nearish to you, I would leave it in and blow it up, that way they can find the hole easier.
Or fit the spare (space saver YUK!) and take it in if its a bit further afield

Has there been any road works near you Trip ??

If there are any within the vicinity of where I live I generally check the tyres over just to be sure

Not seen any road works around lately m8 :cry:

Took it into HI Q this morning, tyre repaired.... grand total of £13.99 BARGAIN
