hello thanks for the reply.
will give the car a once over with the check list so thanks for that.
i have noticed the gearbox is a little crunchy on quick gear changes on all gears ,is that a sighn of sincro or just my driving tech. how easy a repair job and more importantly how much.

Welcome
If its crunchy in all gears then it proberbly low on oil or a clutch fault worse case would be all syncros gone so would need a syncro rebuild that would be gearbox out then

Thanks for the reply.
dony know what to do here.
gearbox problems, now noticed a power loss when heavy/hard acceleration, possibley the plugs, more likely from what i have read on the forum, the maf meter, petrol sender unit not working properly and now possbly a clutch or syncro rebuild. I not expecting to buy a new car but my mate wants 3000 for this one. 94 import wrx sti.clocks still in kph and reading 80000 and numbers not in a straight line.mmmmm.............. what do you think.????

As you said could be the Maf sensor with the power problems or plugs but to be honest sounds a lot of work Id stay clear and buy another Sti fella
