Car Alarm - False Alarms

Vague question I know, but if any1 can provide any suggestions it would be appreciated.

Does any1 have any ideas as to why my car alarm goes off randomly for no reason? Has only rarely happened during the day, mostly it's at night and it's favourite time is early hours of the morning.

Faulty alarm? Cheap alarm?

Cheers,
Spanky.

i think shaz may have had a similar problem ?? I thinks it was the same anyhow... Sharon resolved this by getting a new car battery... BUT there could be other reasons for this... Some wires could be touching or something and when they connect the alarm goes off?

Yeah, read my post in Technical General titled Help. I had a similar problem to you Marc, car was so unreliable, chaning the battery and the batteries in the remote fixed the problem.
