Re: radiator silicon pipes
i am confused. as the post says, i had a leek on my car, well i thought that i had sorted it, put nice shiny pipes on and they are all sealed fine. no leeks as far as i can see, however on the way back home this evening i noticed that the car was revving high as i was pulling up my drive, then i noticed that it was over heating, just above the half way mark. mmmmm i thought that isnt right, so i turned it off and checked the water level and it was dry. so as iv said there are no leeks from any of the pipes ( SO FAR AS I CAN SEE) so can anyone tell me what is going on here???? had the new pipes on for about 10 days now and the car has been running fine.

Quote:
Undo the radiator type cap on the expansion tank and squeeze the rad top and bottom hoses aswell as smaller heater hoses. You may see bubbles in the top as you do it "thats good",once your happy theres no more air try starting the car with the lid still off. (KEEP AN EYE ON IT) as it circulates, put the cap back on after 5 or 10 mins.
