Re: where do i start? newbie here

aha,the 1st and only question you'll wish you never asked.... lol

ok,so car has had a cat removed..which one?

breathing the engine is a good place to start,headers(manifold),de-cat/sportcat,free flow center section, and free flow back box, also high flow pannel filter(green or K&N)....

next question??..

Re: where do i start? newbie here

so your running a free flow cat back system??

full system depends on MOT's and the hassle of putting cat back on etc, also finding a station that will accomodate lol

my personal preferance is a high flow sport cat..

Re: where do i start? newbie here

totally up to you,a panel filter will cope with upto 350 bhp,but if you want an induction kit,the only real gains to come from that is over the 290 bhp mark

BUT!!!...if you do go for a full exhaust system(headers included) and a filter of some sort,it WILL need a remap as the boost will be way off and could cause alot of dammage

Re: where do i start? newbie here

depends where you are in the UK bud..

indeed it will, depending if the car is totally original power is around the 218bhp mark,i'd guestimate with a complete exhaust system and decent filter somewhere in the region of 240/250 bhp, with a tek 1 map in it..
