Newbie Owner

Hi all just bagged myself an Wrx import and oh my

Can any tell me which bhp model it is, its an early 1, I think the code is GC8A under the bonnet. It is still restricted to 112 and god does it get there quick. Is it possible to get it de restricted and what sort of price?

A couple more questions. Every how many miles should it be getting an oil change and service and it could do with new rear disks and maybe pads, what do people use?

Cheers for the help

Re: Newbie Owner

Hi mate. Congrats!

Your car has 240 Bhp and 31.0 Kgm of torque.
Personally would be changing oil every 3000-5000 miles using a good fully synthetic oil.

Enjoy!

Re: Newbie Owner

And yes you can get it de-restricted without any great difficulty and for around 50 pounds. Try here;

Re: Newbie Owner

Perfectly normal. As long as they are all going out once engine is running (though handbrake light will stay on until disengaged obviously) then all is fine.
