Ken555 you can help I'm told!

Hi Ken,

Sorry, couldn't work out how to find you on here. I am looking for an Impreza and someone on Scoobynet suggested you are the one to ask. The model I am looking for is the MY97, P reg, WRX STI version 3, V-Ltd 555, but not the type R or RA. I got the money together earlier this week, but had just missed 384 of 555 and 500 of 555, both sold privately over the weekend, typical! They were up for sale for a few weeks each before that. Do you know of any likely to come up in the next few months and do you know how many of the 555 are actually in this country? I may consider importing one if there are more left in Japan.

Hope you can help a little,

Keith

Sorry about the delay in replying, been away a few days.

I don't know of any 555 cars coming into the country at the moment, I'm afraid.

As for number in the country, the version 3 - 555 seems to be quite common, around 70 or so here.

The version 2 - 555 appear to be less common as most are sold just as STI II cars. As there was no obvious differences, unless it still has the sticker kit on it.

Thanks Ken

Thanks all, including Ken, but I found one, then was honest with insurers and they quoted 1,200 so I decided against it. Have today bought an MY97 WRX STI version 3 and it is amazing! As they all are of course. But it's 750 for the insurance after admitting the Scoobysport exhaust and I'm picking it up Monday. Chuffed to bits!!!!!
