STi STOLEN NEAR HULL.

This has been posted on Scoobynet,Scoobycity,SIDC,P1WOC & now here. Please keep an eye out for this car.

This is posted on behalf of Phil Hotham, whose Sti8 was stolen last Tuesday night. Although a long shot, I hoped that by notifying as many Scooby sites as possible that it might, just might, be spotted.

The blue Scooby, registration YY04 CGG, was taken by professional thieves from the drive of his home in Elloughton, near Hull, sometime between midnight and 6am this morning. They broke into his house to get the keys.

Police say a number of cars have been stolen from the estate where he lives in recent weeks. It will probably be "worked on" to remove as many traces of the original as possible and sold on, probably down south according to the boys in blue.

The car has distinguishing marks, including the Subaru flashes on the rear doors (both sides) and the front brakes are Alcons (polished aluminium) with OE Brembos on the rear.

I know all these things will be changed, but maybe? And just about every panel on new Scoobs has a stamp that can be checked against the chassis number, so if anyone buys a second hand Sti8 and they're not sure of its heritage...

Any help appreciated; email me on liz@blows.fslife.co.uk

AND IF YOU SEE THE CAR OR HAVE ANY INFORMATION, PLEASE CALL HULL POLICE ON 01482 351211

Thanks

Mark

Yeah that's me that!

What's that other disklock called? (the one that covers the entire stearing wheel!) Out of these two which one would anyone consider better?

As for the stolen Impreza, real shocking that these things happen and we have theiving scum like this living on the same planet!

Mine isn't either.
But what I do have is a Clifford Autojax. So even if someone does have the keys they are not going to get far without the cars pin number.
ABout half a mile if they are lucky

Phil has said they broke in to his house and took the keys and then pushed it off his drive way.

When he found it was gone he called the police and called tracker,

Unless the car knows its been stolen the tracker stay's in sleep mode!

They could not locate it! so they dailed it as they have a sim card in the module itself which they can call by phone to find its location, they called it and no reply, 2 hour's later they called it again and bingo it got a reply!!

From some scum that had took the sim card out of the tracker and put the sim card in a mobile phone!!!!!!!!!!

Also some scum had a go at another early morning 2nd July!!!!
