Changed me boost gauge yesterday

Were in local car shop the other wk and spotted these at 23 an thought thats not bad-know theyre ok as lee runs one in his RS turbo, anyway theyre not bad lads in the shop an are used to seein me fairly regular so got it for 20 yesterday.

Only had a revotec one in before an were bought more as it matched the white clock faces of the dash(looked crap at night though)-both are mechanical as opposed to the more expensive electronic ones but will do for what i want-wouldnt have changed it to be honest if it werent for the price an the shop bein local.

Same as this one here

autogague are suposed to be a good bit of kit, be a bit weary of oil temp/pressure gauges that arn't electronic though, you can end up with oil on your interior worst case (mate foundout the hard way lol)

Re: Changed me boost gauge yesterday

My trouble is theres certain things i will spend decent money on Tyres/brakes(well pads anyway)/exhaust/oil`s an servicing and of course the essential......polish i only wanna know what boost its running so whilst i`d love some defis for how they look(an they do look cool )cant really justify them.

Daz a mate of mine that used to own a 370bhp pulsar GTI-R had defis in that but hasnt bothered in his astra VXR at all, suppose it depends how much you`re into ya gadgets but for me if something does a job and`s fairly reliable i need something im replacing it with thats alot more expensive to be significantly better-in all the cases i spend decent money they are

Re: Changed me boost gauge yesterday

Took this one on me phone earlier but didnt come out very good so i`ll take one tomorrow night with the my proper camera.Know what ya mean about wanting a green one i were the same-trouble is now the green dash lights look a bit drab an dull as the gauge is so clear .......they were the good part before
