BUYING A SCOOBY

hello all, first post in the forum.

Im looking for an Impreza, iv got a BMW330Ci at the minuit and im in the middle of sorting a deal with someone to swop it for an STi V8 DCCD model, 2003, 50000 miles. He's looking for around 10K for the car, is there anything i should be looking for on this car in particular? it looks like a lot of money has been spent on the car, tracker, alarm imobiliser, all with recipts.

Im totally new to Subarus could anyone just help me out by giving me some info on this model ??

Thank you very much
