Cool My Shed....

Had the CEL flash up the other day, thought "ere, thats strange"pulled over, stopped the engine, restarted n all was fine, stil pulled like a train...Saturday CEL pops up again not even on load or anything, pulled off the A380,turned off, restart, job done........bleeding thing did it again on the way home that same day...thought "bugger it,ring EnginerTuner".....so i did, popped down this morning, plugged it in,lambda flashes up,ideal got one nextdoor, fitted it,tested, all fine n dandy......then my mapper puts her on the rollers to see what she's doing....well funk me.....its not been mapped since Jan 2007 and the bleeding thing has gained 30 bhp....that map Martyn put in must have been a bloody good one,he said its unusual for an ecu to retain a map and improve on it so to speak,so i'm pretty chuffed to funk

i'll shut up now....lol

Re: My Shed....

when you say Martin "said its unusual for an ecu to retain a map and improve on it so to speak" how do you mean retain ? or is this a really dumb question- just done a night shift
