Turbo option for a 2009 2.0L Impreza

I know in the state there are no 2.0L Impreza.
However, that is the bigger engine I can get before I jump in to STi.
In Austria, they don even have WRX alone.

So without spending 53000 Euro which is almost 70000 USD.
my best bet is to get the 2.0L 150hp Impreza Pro:Sport:Line.

I just wana know any turbo option for that car?
How good are the AWD and the suspension?
I know there are no match for STi.
how about just comparing them to regular WRX.

Sorry mate, never been in a n/a impreza so not really qualified to comment but here goes. I imagine it would still be a giggle although obviously not as quick as the wrx or sti etc. Suspension wise, i'm running gas bilstein dampers with lowering springs ( approx 40mm ) and my classic handles as if it's on rails. As for turbo conversion.............anything's possible if you have the cash. You could prob just bolt a turbo straight on to your engine although it'd last 5 minutes. If you were gonna keep your engine rather than drop a complete turbo engine in then you would be looking at a rebulid as a n/a engine is high compression and a forced induction engine is low compression. Hope that helps a bit?

ya~ it helps.
i dono, it is going to be a DD and family car if I get an Impreza.
I am still in USA right now, I will be moving to Austria May.
so I am still thinking.

If I have cash, likely I will buy a Ford Focus RS Mk1.
because only 4000 made.

No experience of the Impreza model you quote but I have driven the hatch Impreza (N/A) as was given one for 3 days as a courtesy car.

To be brutally honest i hated the car. It was very sluggish, the suspension was too soft and it wallowed horrendously through the corners. Not sure why it was like this as the legacy's I have driven haven't felt like that at all so if you are gonna get a Subaru then my advice would be skip the Impreza altogether and go for a Legacy, Outback or a Forrester.
