Yeh, it happened to me.
There I was with a lazy Saturday on my hands and not much to do. Took the company vehicle for a spin in town. Dropped into a Mitsubishi dealer for a look. Test drove an Evo8MR, liked it but not that much. Then made the mistake of calling by the Subaru dealer about a mile down tha road. They had a fantastic looking red STi8 demonstrator 8) . Drove the car, loved the car, had to have one. End of story ![]() |

Apart from getting a great car, he spoke very little English, apart from telling me he was a Liverpool fan  , and I speak very limited Japanese. Great, no smarmy Bull**it But your right, he was very much surplus to requirements. The car sold it's self, unlike the Evo. Sorry Evo fans  |

maybe thats the truth Poxy
but for me it's more about the looks and my ultimate scooby (22B) would win it for me over any evo or rs shape wise i'm still in love with the classic over the new-age but that will probably change in the future (when i can afford to buy one  ) |

agree but that is personal opinions of what you like and dont like,
the fact is the evo is a better track tool, power and handling package than any standard scoob, type 25 i do not class as standard. i love scoobs  just annoys me that people rubbish other car makes :? we are all performance car fans are we not :?: and the evo is a bloody good car. servicing though that is another matter  |
