wrx to sti conversion help needed

hi all, m new to forum.
I am conveting my gda wrx to a gdb spec sti. I purchased a crashed sti which had a side impact (rhs).
i have changed everything i could, engine bay(both sides),dash looms, engine and drive gear. ECU, fuse boxes etc.

Lights etc are all working.

I havent changed the rear loom as it seemed the same.

I can't get the car to fireup. Anyone got any hints or suggestions as to wot to look for?
M going to try n read ecu codes today. using black plugs and engine light.

thx
Sam

Fuel and spark.........if the fuel is getting through and there is a good spark @ plugs then it should be go go gadget.

I just put an sti lump in my classic wrx. All i have changed was the engine, re-used all my ancilleries and Robert's yer fathers brudda. Already had a z4 ecu mind although i think it would have run with the wrx ecu anyways, just been down on power.

As said mate, fuel and spark..........

Re: wrx to sti conversion help needed

wasnt the fuel. checked the in and out from the black filter in engine bay. Removed plug from under airfilter - seemed easiest, No spark. Have been checking the plugs and fuses etc. All look good.
I dont have the drive shaft, axles or exhaust on (manifold is on, just the end from gearbox bckwards isnt) i Didnt think it would make a diff. Speedo works, abs light stays on (think it is meant goes off when car is started) engine light stays on (same thght as previous).

Dont really know wot else to do but sumhow get it scanned.

Good man!! Glad you sorted it, it's frustrating as fcuk when things don't go right and if you're anything like me you keep going back and checking the same things time and time again. Thinking outside of the box is usually the key lol
