Gareth when r u going to post some pics of the new Impreza?! I want to see it! And trust me, you will get used to the look of the new bodystyle I promise. It will really grow on you, and you will just love it. I agree, the classic body style looks terrific, but the new style is just as great in it's own way.

Congratulations on the new car!

And it's always a good idea to follow the recommended break in procedure, I babied my car for the first 3,000 miles, and a buddy of mine didn't with his WRX. After a couple years my car feels faster and "stronger" than his, it's hard to explain after driving both cars, but my car just feels like the engine is stronger. He didn't break in the car like the manual recommended because he thought that was already done at the factory.

Thanks for the information gears. I will be sticking to the rule book for a while i think.... I'll do my best to get it to 1000 miles as quick as i possibly can
