New Zealand winners!
Yeah, Petter won, yeah yeah!!! I have to wait until Sunday night (Speed vision) to watch the rally so I'm sure you guys have known about Petter's victory for a while. It was an exciting rally, I was on the edge of my seat during the last couple stages, but I knew he would win. He is such an awesome driver, and the new Impreza is really starting to show it's true power.
On a side note, it was a shame Mitsu couldn't even run a car. They really have a lot to sort out with that car. And it looks like Gronholm is starting to get faster with the new 306, but I know Petter isn't worried. :P |

That's not sad at all Gareth. :P Do you guys have access to TiVo? It's really cool, you can rewind a tv program or pause it. It's great for sporting events, the rally, etc.
Nelson, when Subaru first announed Burns would be driving for us I was so excited, and I know he will make an awesome comeback. You're right, that would be an awesome combo with him and Petter. Mikko will be a great driver in the next couple years as well. Big E, he will win it again! (That will be my bold prediction for the year) 8) |

I really think that Burns is laying low right now and just focusing on recovering his health, and I just have this feeling that he will make a complete recovery, I truly hope so. Not just so he can return and drive for Subaru, but because he seems like such a nice person who just loves racing.
I will never forget when he was driving for Peugeot in the 207 and the car broke a wheel hub and was stuck in the dirt, and he kept trying and trying to get the car moving again, he was in tears afterwards. You could just tell he used every ounce of his strength, heart, and soul to get that damn car out of the dirt. In fact, that was probably the single event that made me a rally fanatic, I will never ever forget it. So let's all pray that he recovers and then we can have Burnsie and Petter in the #1 and #2 spots! |

Gareth, that is such a cool story! I am truly impressed mate, just be careful that Phil doesn't try to make a move on your lady. j/k  He sounds like a very nice person, especially for him to send those autographed items to you. Petter is lucky to have him as a co-driver.
