Do you all wave to other Scooby owners ?

I generally give a flash (ahem) of lights and a wave to other Scooby owners Don't get too many waves back tho' from Forrester and or Legacy owners.

Most amount of waves in one day for me was 6 all Imprezas

Anyone else ?

Me too.... before i bought the car a drove a focus 1.8 :x and nobody waved, well apart from the mates .... When i then bought the impreza i though people didnt know i bought the car and were waving to the previous owner :? but it just hasnt stopped - it nuts really.

The most dangerous wave me and another scooby driver was on the M4 doing 90mph going past eacher other opposite sides of the motorway! both saw each others cars

It was especially dangerous for me a the balancing needed doing and two hands on the wheel were required

I flash everyone in a scooby like the other day i had a very nice yellow sport behind me

so as it turned off i stuck on the hazards for about 2 mins just to make sure she saw me

the most i have seen in a day was about 12 but i was in my transit always the bloody way

Waves

Yep, I always wave, but don't always get a wave back - there's a lot of "old boys" driving around in brand new scoobies

Waves

I meant to say that the "younger" scooby drivers do wave, if they see me in time going the opposite way

I try to wave at every other Impreza that I see, but unfortunately of late some people do not wave back. I have talked to a buddy of mine about this, he has a '01 WRX (the first year it was available here in the US) and back when we first got our cars every other Impreza owner would wave, but not anymore. I still get lots of waves, but I think some of the "newer" scooby owners don't know to wave.

I'm waving at all of you mates right now, all the way from Texas! :P

Top man Gears, lets keep the waving spirit ongoing..... Know what the mexican wave is?

Its strange though, why impreza drivers wave to each other

So what exactly is the mexican wave? :?

I will tell my friend about your site, I know he would like it. Currently he is spending a lot of time building up a Toyota Corolla (AE86) for drifting, it's a fun little car. I will send him on over.

And I think waving at another subie owner, mainly the Impreza, is just a way to say hi and acknowledge each other. The other day I spotted a very nice 2.5RS (we never got the GC8 WRX) and a blue STi, we all waved at each other, and I was waving while going around a corner and passing a slower car! It was funny.
