Has anyone got any reccomendations fer insurance co's? Car will be an imported WRX wagon, no mods (yet 8) )

Yes m8 i think that Liverpool and Victoria are the cheapest for imports as long as you are over 30 mind

Just to add to this, L&V have also quoted me £200 cheaper than tesco.... So in a way they quoted me happy

or is that a different insurance company :?

Seems to be a thing where if you have a hot car for a yr, the cost supposedly goes down. First yr is a bit 'loaded' one of 'em said to us.
L&V systems were down so nowt there yet. Tesco were expensive.
A few to come back, Adrian Flux being one (they have an "Imports" page with an Impreza pic on it, so fingers X'd there!)
Any job to do with the Internet is higher risk apparently so i'm gonna be a 'computer consultant' or 'tea engineer' or just a prostitute, summat more respectable anyways :P

Crikey. For £4k I'd expect a big huge borderline psychotic bloke & a pair of dogs with bad attitudes to be permanently on guard next to me car....

We had £1900 or similar. We're fairly ancient too, me 41 t'missus is 39.
Best so far was Diamond, but we haven't tried L&V, LifeSure, and MCE (who do my Mussie) as yet.

BIG E - A.Flux yer right what a bunch of t#ssers. They said they couldn't do imports despite having a web page about that. Passed us to someone else. Price was £stupid can't even remember, the grey cells have rejected it

Update:
L&V won't do imports
Tesco were good but demanded a Tracker
Diamond best all round so far

Talking about the tracker then (i'm with tesco)...

I'm using Phantom Target - £500 install and (£70) per year subscription.

can only vouch for tesco's myself, everyone else wanted silly money £700-£1200.
Tescos wanted a tad under £500 but insisted on the tracker (having one anyway so wasn't worried).
L&V weren't interested in tracker?

But then I am on the wrong side of 40.

Alley kat go onto l&v website and get an online quote

i got insured with them yesterday for £600 guarenteed no claims for life

7 yrs no claims didn't even ask what mods didn't even ask for a tracker

i am 33 driving a MY95 wrx import
