Hi All,
Hope everyone is well. I’m a New owner of a Scooby and new member to this forum. I have a Subaru Impretza WRX 2002. I wish to service the car by myself as I know allot about engines, but I never had a Scooby. Is there anyone who can give me pointers and what other things I mite need to service? Also I have the engine management light on and don’t know how to take it off? Or why it’s on? Thanks Amz |

Re: Servicing and Engine management light
Have a look at ''Technical general'' section 5th post down ''scooby manual'' you can download them that will tell you everything as for the engine light if it was a classic scoob you can read the codes manually but you need to plug them into dianostics with the new scoobs........ if you plug it in that will tell you then whats the problem...............

Re: Servicing and Engine management light
When I got mine. serviced it straight away done the oil change used a genuine filter and using a 5w 30 fully syntetic now changed plugs, replaced gearbox oil and diff oil I replaced water pump and idier pullies and tension pulley as I needed to change cam belt so done all these with the cam belt then air filter and fuel filter changed the alternator drive belt to changed coolant to for genuine coolant from subaru needed front brake pads, rears were nearly new changed the front for the ferodo pads and then I bled the entire system with ferodo brake fluid find the braking way better now but you might not need to do as much as me I just wana make sure car running 100% and have no problems with it...................
