Unhappy turbo shutting off/sharp cut

Hi can anyone help???? I have a 98 sti import with roller bearing turbo. The problem occurs, when i accelerate from standstill with foot to floor the turbo boost cuts out sharply as if its over boosting. It then tries to boost but keeps "dropping off" so to speak thus creating a kangaroo effect!! I have taken off the boost solenoid giving it a good clean but problem still exists. Been on diagnostics and coming up with camshaft sensor fault but dont seem to think this is problem as car drives fine apart from above. Help!!!!

Check the hoses. I had something similar when I put my foot to the floor in my car. It was the larger silicon hose that sits under he intercooller.
It could be a different one for you though so check them all.
