i replaced the engine on my sti every thing works good untill i hit 5000 rpms then cylynder #3 miss fires subaru mechanics tried every thing and cant fix it please let me know what i should doo

what year is your STI ?
I had an MY03 STI Type UK and I lost cylinder #2 completely. It took Subaru months to diagnose. It started out as a missfire but developed very quickly in to failure.
It turns out that it's a known fault with the 03 STI that at 80k miles the exhaust values crumble and you loose all compression. Have you had a compression test ?

Could well be a coil pack breaking down at high revs.

Could be .

1. Plug gaps.
2. Injector performance (one stuck open/not performing correctly)
3. Boost leak.
4. Air Intake
