anti scumbag measures..

just wondering what measures youve all taken to prevent scumbags touching up our loved ones.
also how much you paid for the pleasure.

i was looking at upgrading to a thatcham 1 as at the moment ive got the standard 2006 alarm and a steering lock.

been looking at all the possibilities and my brains blown to bits. too many choices of sensors and so on. and the only aftermarket alarm i ever had on a car was fitted by the previous owner.

has anyone got one of these anti-hijack things where you enter the code otherwise the car shuts down?

so, any advice and recommendations of alarms you have, fire away!

Personally i use a high tech piece of equipment called a golf club

i know of someone who used razor blades inside their scoop to thwart a thief who made a few attempts at pinching it.

Funnily enough i was advised by an ex cop to do exactly the same thing after mine was pinched twice.

The thief is hardly going to explain to the coppers just how he got the wounds and even if he did manage to file a report somehow, the PF would just red pen it.

Personally i would just use a 12v strobe light but take the bulb out and wire up the electronics to the bottom of the scoop. Would be funny to watch someone try and steal it then

its these street-rat kids that are the worse. what the hell do they pinch scooby scoops for? they must put them on their corsa's.

as for the razors, you'd probably end up doing 5 yrs and have to pay him off forever knowing our lovely justice system.
