Ooops - forgot to update this thread.
I refitted this as it turned out my oil pick up pipe was split and the extra stress from the removal of the windage tray opened out the split and dropped the oil pressure. New oil pipe fitted and refitted the baffle and it has been perfect ever since. I have run it at knockhill, silverstone, cadwell, nurburgring, hockheim and brands hatch and the oil has never experienced any surging or blowby issues. I thoroughly recommend this product.
