extended warranty good or bad

i just bought a 04 from the subi dealership with a 2.5 they give a 100k power train but are pushing a bumper to bumper for 700 u.s.d. i feel that subi is a well built car and probbly wont have problems anyone have any input.

is it a year's cover or 100k? or which ever comes first?

Would depend on if you intend modifying it with none warranty recommended parts-fair enough you can swap stuff bk but with certain things they know how the problems occurred.

You know what warranty companies are like with get out clauses, depends how long you intend keeping the car aswell as to wether its definately gonna be worth it.

I did extend mine but then I had already had a few faults. I definitely got my monies worth and for me it was the right thing to do...

Under 5 years of Warranty (3 + 2 extended) I have had (in no particular order)
Front Shocks
Gearbox
Clutch
Flywheel
Radiator
Power steering pump
Water pump
Pulley's
Then all the labour to carry out replacing the above

Think I have missed a couple of minor things as well......
