mmmm. i think you should rephrase it to WHAT WOULD YOU BE DRIVING NOW THAT IS OF ROUGHLY THE SAME VALUE....

and mine i think would be an escort cossie or maybe a polo gti.... yeah i said polo hehe.

my little brother bought one and although its not super fast, its brilliant fun to drive! its like driving a go kart!
superb quality and nice interior touches too.

also i think i would still have my MG ZS 180.

i got a lot of stick for owning that car, but it had brilliant handling and a lovely v6 noise.

wrote it off doing 20mph

I'd look for a VW Golf R32, although a few years ago i had a VW polo G40 which for a 1.3 engine was stunning !!

Mate of mines got a golf gti with the R32 kit on it loadsa extras including daft money wheels did a straight swap for his 320bhp uk300 a while bk now, considering what scoobys are fetching these days think he did ok-its immaculate.

gets loadsa looks though the colours a bit well....... ya either love it or hate it.

like it for what it is but golfs really arent my cuppa tea though dont mind mk2`s if im honest.
