So I want to buy a catback exhaust for my 05 RS. I found some incredible prices on ebay and don't know whether they are actually good. I'm more into the sound then trying to get lots of HP out of it. Here's a link to one of those exhausts: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWA:IT&ih=019.
Its only 80 bucks and im really inclined to purchase it. what do you guys think??Or do you guys think it'll just be worth spending about 500 for an Invidia catback exhaust or some other exhaust that you know works well on subys? Thanks!

Think you will find this e-bay cat-back exhaust is designed specifically for the Impreza WRX/STi the RS has different diameter pipes. Look for a cat-back/axle-back that will fit your 05 RS.

I see....I think the tubing has to be 2.5'' Problem is I cant seem to find any for that...lots o fppl have them customized..dunno if i have to money for that at the moment

so i'm hearing many diff things. some sellers are telling me a certain catback will fit while some say it won't. just to clarify, all I really need to know is the diameter of the piping in order to make sure it will fit my RS right?? so...anybody know what is the right diameter of piping for 05 subaru 2.5RS. I think it's 2.5''...or 2.25''...i'm not sure...
