ha the dim switch for the clock!! i did think that. first time i see it i thought it was something to do with the headlights, i didnt think the clock deserved a dim switch on the steering column hehe

When i first pressed it expected the whole instrument panel to dim-in fact didnt think the button were workin-then checked the clock out an just laughed,surely that could have been done via sidelight headlight switch on stalk.

how many times have you used your head light washers? i use mine to clean the wind screen ! lol:)

the most practical thing by far on the classic is that the rear seats fold down. i've had 8 ft xmas trees and half a dozen 4 metre lengths of pine skirting spanning the length of my car n sticking out of the front passenger window. the worst thing that happened to my boot was when i had a bunch of containers holding really wet red clay in the back which all leaked from their covering bag and stained the boot trim bright orange...., was a nightmare day at the office!! i think everyone forgets what a great work horse the impreza can be. i'd love to live in the country with mine and get it stinking dirty on a regular basis......(U.K dave has just fainted, lol.)

That is soooo true dont know if my headlight washers still work-in fact at one time were gonna get one of them spray bars or a couple of nozzles for the intercooler-however screen wash would be a no no wouldnt be a gd look with bubbles comin out the scoop-would look like it were frothing at the mouth.:D

not having a proper lock on the fuel cap/cover! that be asking for trouble on a classic kept on the street.

as for the clock dim switch i really did laugh when first i found that the stalk twist was dedicated to such a small task. i went back to the dealer thinking my dash should dim.

one thing i dont like is the seat adjust. that pull clicky thing. i always need it somewhere in between the notches. shouldve been a winder.

and the new evo does look superb. but the new sedan impreza is pretty nice. interesting to see wat the sti of it will look like. that hatchbacky thing we've seen so much of looks like a proton from 1994.

Dynamat time-to be honest i had a mate put 2x15`s in his an it were a waste of time everything rattled spoiler bootlid bumper plastic sidepanels eitherside rear window inside where seatbelt mounts are if ya doin it ya wanna do everywhere but ya gotta be patient.(hence no subs in mine)

the DCCD lets you choose the level of the torque between the front and rear wheels.

ermm... on the road i dont really see when you would use it.

on a track and that though deffo!!

I love my Impreza so much, I think I have sold it!! :lol:

imprezas are great but......... who decided it would be ok to put a hooter from a noddy car on.

i actually dont hoot alot of the time and use my voice as a horn. normally one long drawn out 115db 4 letter word.
