Non Turbo Imprezas

As I cant quite afford to buy and run a turbo scooby im looking out for a 2.0 non turbo for the time being. I was just wondering what the general running costs are for one of these and also how to check the 4wd works ok.

Cheers

Hi.

The Impreza has AWD (permanent). All the wheels are providing power all the time.

if it aint working propeerly it norm means the diff is totaled and you'll hear all sort of strange noises, my advice would be to get someone who knows scoobs to have a look at it, or buy one from a reputable dealer or specialist

I must be driving mine wrong cos I only get about 24mpg and its fully serviced and recently passed it's MOT. Mine's a 2.0 Sport (no turbo) - had it for 3 years - replaced tyres twice, brakes once, clutch once and timing belt once, several services and the rest has been cosmetic.
Hope this helps.
