I have been offerred a 2 cars part x for my M3 convertible..

I know about the other one but the one I dont know about is the subaru

Could some of you experts give me some advice as to what you think this would be worth private and for me to sell to a dealer (or if anyone is interested PM me)
He says its worth about 11 - 12k??

Details are

04 plate uk wrx prodrive 266bhp more than sti which is 260. official ppp model 60k with full scooby history traker and cat1. immac (thats how it was written to me so dont know if it all makes sense)?

think hes asking a bit much for it tbh, for that sort of money you can pick up an 03 sti with similar miles

11k is roughly right although can prob get him down from that a bit, theres a couple on pistonheads for that figure with lower milage on

So if I said 10k... do u think I would be able to shift it quite easily ?

p.s is the model WRX STI ? whats he saying there about the BHP & prodrive ? I dont understand it ?

ahh k, the sti is the top of the range model, running 276bhp as standard and a higher spec than the wrx which is the slightly tamer cousin, running 225bhp as standard (if i remember correctly, or is it the 245bhp version?) anyway, the prodrive bit is the PPP which stands fro prodrive performance pack, add a sports exhaust pannel filter and a remapped ecu giving a higher bhp.

tbh there not shifting very well at the min, are you looking at buying a scoob of your choice with the money?

I am not know im in need of a hatchback, so going to have to get a VXR, he has a nice VXR but I want to part x my 03 M3 Convertible... so he has another car the scooby, which he would said he would give me...
if u could shift that for 10 or 9.5k It would be a ok deal.....

mm, tbh it realy depends what you can flog it for and if you could. o other thing is if you drive it you prob wont want the vxr lol.

its a tough one, you may sell it straight away or you may be stuck with it, might be worth finding out what vauxhall will give you for it against the vxr and see if you get a decent price or not so you can def get rid of it.

Understand your point but I the reason I want the VXR is I need a hatchback as I now have a dog... otherwise I would have just kept my M3....
