Getting more bhp
Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone can tell me when I get my wagon next week where I can take it to have more work done to increase the bhp, its currently running at 308bhp but would like to get more, I know it currently has the following SUBARU IMPREZA Turbo PRODRIVE 308bhp DYNO, its a wagon version ok done 72k, full subaru service history, API exhaust with "D" pipe, V effector e/kit, chromium moly light wieght flywheel, Sports cluch,light wieth crank pully, high press radiator cap, down pipe, blitz profec B boost controller, defi link gauges, it has magnecor leads i believe, hks iducktion kit.... I am based in s.wales, any ideas guys? Thanks |

yep as said the prodrive map isn't designed to be used with a different turbo and tbh i wouldn't drive it untill its mapped for it, the fueling and flow rates will be totaly different (unless its already been custom mapped for it)

Well im unsure if it has or hasnt, as said on another post it was a guy of here sellin this car before but he traded it at a garage where im buying it, his car spec is here: http://www.subaru-impreza.org/bbs/sh...ad.php?t=36655

yep it has been mapped so don't worry about that.
the limiting factor mibht be the ecu itself, when i had a similar spec mods put on (although i had a front mount as well) the ecu wouldn't play ball so had to go down the aftermarket ecu route, o also did away with the dreaded MAF

nope,
the turbo timer just keeps the engine running after you turn it off for a couple of mins to let the turbo cool down with oil still flowing through it to prevent damage, shouldn't affect performance in anyway
