What spec is my GC8?
Hello guys,
Need your help here. I have uploaded the photos of the console, engine bay and C.differential. Could anyone please tell me what spec is mine ? UK spec? JDM? and most importantly what is the stock BHP? ah guys... my mechanics checked for me already ... it is a fake C.diff.. just for show... really wonder why the previous owner love to spend time & money doing nothing useful ..... lol
by the way, my mechanics told me that the timing belt need replacement .. the mileage is now 89,000km. he quoted me with all the bearings and oil seals. Are they necessary to be changed at the same time? Can i just changed my timing belt because i didnt hear any noise coming from the bearing. please advise.... my car is still stuck in the workshop ... |

hahaha .. it has been almost a month.. got the HKS air filter, HKS Hi-Power muffler, TEIN Type HA fully adjustable .... Greddy Profec B Spec II.. replaced the timing belt system, fuel filter... was hoping for a good drive
BUT ..... there were jerks while boosting up to 0.8 bar when i floored it... maybe the fuel pump or the ignition system is out ... sigh.... |
after all that pmsl, o well at least mystery solved lol

ahh, was more the mystery of what car it was i was refering to lol

yeah !!! finally troubleshoot what was the problem with the boost jerkings... changed to walbro fuel pump .. definitely pump more than 3.0 litres per min .. but it still didnt solved the problem..
then the mechanic swap my ignition coil cables with the NGK Power cable ... took it for a sprint... whow ... 0.9 bar ... steady .. ;) however... now i realised it wasnt fast enough ... lol... yeah .. i know .. my bad |
