hi guys bin away on hols now im back can start on the 300
wanted to know the best (not the cheapest) way to make 300+bhp got a few bits 1. cyclone afterburner exhaust + d-cat pipe 2. k&n cold air induction kit 3. baileys dump valve (i have bin told to put the standard dv back on) 4. 5. 6. had it rollin roaded and made 220bhp with mods its a uk300 51 plate with 55,000 on clock full service history and a good tuner would'nt go a miss nice one guys p.s any shows/meets any time soon |

Mines had the following done by Lee at Scooby Clinic this was done when Scott had the car. RR'd at 317.8 bhp vf34 turbo uprated fuel pump hybrid front mount intercooler sti pink injectors under wing air filter full magnex decat exhaust twin trumpet GFB dump valve remapped by richard bulmer @ tracktive solutions Hope this helps. As above really to make a genuine 300+
Turbo choice is the key IMHO, vf34, vf35, TD05-i6g or a TD04-hybrid. All should break 300 comfortably with above mentioned mods (fuel pump/injectors and ideally STI8> TMIC), however they are not all equal when it comes to spool/response..! My choice for a very quick ROAD car would be the TD04H or VF35 as both spool very quickly (TD04 slightly quicker) and suit the uk 5 speed ratio's better..! ![]() Out of interest, I see you have had it dyno'd at 220bhp, but I thought the UK300's came with PPP, which for the bugeye WRX produced around 245..? BTW, definitely dump the dump valve and refit oem recirc DV..! J ![]() |
