Update
the above reply saying I got my money back Isn't true. I still have the car.
Here is what has happened so far. Googled the reg , 2 hits from bradford police asking if anyone has seen this car as it was involved in a armed robbery ( street muggung with a weapon not a post office and gun). so I contacted the police at bradford told them about the car, they told me to contact a traffic cop from manchester to check the car out. Rang GMpolice put threw to a srg from denton who used to be in the stolen vehicle squad he checked the car and told me to go to the stolen vehicle squad centre in clayton. Went there this morning ( 7:00am ouch) they have checked the car . The chassis is ok legit. the engine number the copper from denton ran a check on came back as stolen , But the guy at the stolen vehicle squad told me he used the wrong number . when he did a check it came back as ok nothing stolen . He is going to contact subaru with the engine nukmber and check what chassis it was oringinallly installed in. and then check if that was stolen. ( if it is i will have to buy the engine off the insurence company ) so for know the car is legit!! he will contact me in 6 weeks so I hope all is well!! |

Hope u get is sorted. There's always some sod out there trying it on.
I got conned abit when i bought my 95' WRX import. The bloke said he had spent around £700 on new discs and pads, but i had only had it 3 months and needed to change the front pads and might even have to do the pads next month. Also said he kept it in a very clean condition, mmmmmm, i don't think so. Never cleaned under the mats, so had about 3 years worth of dirt under them, uuuck. And as for the sound system, reckons it was installed proffessionally. Amp keeps cutting out and is only 250w compared to the sub, which is 1200w. So have got to get a new 800w amp and get the whole lot re-wired, what a git, lol. Scotty.

changing a ps pump is not that hard, just can be a mess. Just loosen the belt and take it off the pulley. Get a bucket and drain the fluid out of the old one and probably would not hurt to get it out of the lines too. Then unbolt and put the new one on and bleed it.
