bugeye gx vs classic sport??? confused

ALLOHA everyone!
so ive got a 1997 impreza 2L sport with nothing performance wise done to it apart from a cat removed.... its not in the best shape body wise rust cummin through arches ... and needs a new boot lid (don't drive with a slipped disk it ends in tears) so ive been lookin at upgrading but the birds got a DR10 on her licence and ive got points an claims... i can get insurance on a turbo but they won't touch me with her on it, so i came accross a 2002 bugeye 2L GX in arnold clark decent condition with sti spoiler, 17s and full s/s exhaust only £6500 i even got the guy to offer me 1500 for my scoob only problem was i took it out for a rest drive and it seems GUTLESS!!! in comparrison to mine?

does anyone have any idea why? i'm a little put off now...

I used to work for Privilege Insurance who would cover DR10 convictions, but you have to pay for it I'm afraid.......It really would be outlandish I imagine for a WRX, but try their website and get a quote. Actually, it might not quote so you might have to ring them instead.
